    Primary processing of flax

  1. Investigation of efficiency of the flax straw drying on the air channels in the field. Mukhin V.V., Savinova V.I., Kuthumov A.V.
    The process of removal of a moisture from flax straw during the retting in the fields on the air channels is considered and the conditions for improving this process are discussed. Tables.1, fig.5.

  2. The artificial drying of flax retted straw in the balls. Mukhin V.V., Dubkova I.A.
    The expediency of a reversal movement of the heat-carrier during convection drying in balls is proved. The mathematical models allowing to predict process of straw drying are developed. Fig.6.

  3. Some features of pressing of the flax retted straw of high moisture and uniformed density. Dubkova I.A., Mukhin V.V., Makarenkov I.V.
    The relation between density of flax straw in balls and parameters of pressing system of a baler is established. The mathematical models of the process of straw pressing, allowing to optimise pressing regimes for creation of balls with necessary density are developed. Fig.7.

  4. An efficiency of the application of chemical conserving agents for high moisture retted straw during long-term storage. Mukhin V.V., Kolchin I.T.
    The mechanism of action of some chemical conservatives is presented. The technology of conservation of the flax retted straw of a high moisture by liquid, solid and gas conserving agents is described. Fig.3.

  5. An efficiency of the separate technology of flax harvesting. Boyarchenkova M.M., Ponazhev V.P., Kovalev M.M.
    The results of investigations on the separate technology of flax harvesting aimed seed producing are discussed. The data of seed yield and quality are given.

  6. The influence of additional sowing of grasses under flax on the yield and fibre quality and a subsequent crop. Boyarchenkova M.M.
    The results of long-term experiments on the additional sowing of perennial cereals and clover grasses as a cover for flax field during retting affecting on yield and quality of fibre as well yield of a subsequent crop(spring wheat) are discussed. The opportunity to use these fields for these grasses seed multiplication is shown. Tables.3.

  7. Influence of a stage of maturity of flax and a degree of a straw retting on quality of row material and cottonized fiber. Boyarchenkova M.M., Dubkova I.A., Kuznetsova N.S.
    The results of investigations on influence of a stage of maturity of flax and a degree of a straw retting on quality of retted straw, short fiber and cottonized fiber with analysis of spinning are discussed. Tables.3.

  8. Technological parameters of flax fibrous prodaction prepared by different ways, in view of a complexof the basic agrotechnical factors. Bolshakova S.R.
    It is show results of researches on detection of the optimal combination of the complex of main factors of flax growing (date of sowing doze of fertilizers, plant density, harvesting date, method of straw retting) and to their influence on fibre quality. Tables.1, fig.4.

  9. Microbiological aspects of flax dew retting process on the soil crests. Belova V.M., Savinova V.I.
    The results of microbiological investigations during dew retting process on the soil crests in the flax fields and meadow fields are shown. It is established, that the soil crests promote the increasing of flax raw material quality in comparison with flax field and meadow. Fig.6.

  10. The peculiarities of instrumental evaluation of the quality of water retting flax fiber. Kudriashova T.A., Ghurusova A.A.
    There is established that coordinate "Z" is close correlated with the level of lignification and physico-mechanical traits of water retted flax fiber. This parameter can be used as a tenable criteria for quality estimation. Fig.2, tables.1.

  11. The investigation of reflected spectrum of the flax raw material. Kudriashova T.A., Ghurusova A.A.
    The reflected spectra of flax straw, dew and water retted flax fibre are discussed. Correlation of the coordinate of coloure "Z" with the level of lignification for dew and water retted flax fibre needs in different mathematical models.

  12. New instrumental method of quality evaluation of the non-matured flax retted straw and the estimation of stage of the flax straw retting. Vinogradova T.A.
    New instrumental method of quality estimation of the non-matured flax retted straw has been carry on. This method is more precise and less in time costing. It have been recommended for the industrial use and some changes of the Sate Standard "Flax Retted Straw"(GOST 24383-89) are discussed. Tables.1, gig.3.

    Methods for artificial dew retting and the data base creation are discussed as a way for improving the flax fiber quality estimation in the state system of variety testing in Russia. Tables.1.
